Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Brand Launch ("Brand Launch," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website (including brand-launch.com), our application and booking forms, our content production and related services, our calls and virtual meetings, our on-site shoots, and any related activities (together, the "Services"). Brand Launch operates this Website and the Services.
Brand Launch is based in the United States and offers the Services only to businesses and individuals located in the United States. We accept payment only from United States sources. We aim to meet the requirements of applicable United States privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA and CPRA) and other United States state privacy laws. By using the Services, you acknowledge this Policy and agree to our Terms of Service.
1. Who this Policy covers
This Policy applies to everyone who interacts with the Services within the United States. The Services are intended only for United States residents and United States businesses, and the website is not directed to individuals outside the United States. If you become a client, your signed service agreement and any production or on-camera release you sign may add further terms about your information and content. Those documents add to the protections here. They do not replace them.
2. The information we collect
What we collect depends on how you interact with us:
- Contact and business details. Name, email, phone number, business name, business location, role, and anything you enter in our application or booking forms.
- Application and qualification answers. The responses you give in our intake form, which we use to decide fit and whether to book a call.
- Account, device, and usage data. IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, pages viewed, referral source, and similar analytics collected through cookies and pixels.
- Payment and transaction data. Handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers ourselves.
- Call and meeting recordings. Audio or video of discovery calls, onboarding, strategy sessions, and progress reviews, recorded with notice and only where reasonably needed to deliver, improve, or document the Services.
- On-site production footage. Photo and video captured at your place of business during a shoot day. This can include your premises, your team, and anyone who appears on camera. Rights to use this footage are governed by the production or on-camera release you sign. See Section 4.
- Anything else you send us. Testimonials, emails, support messages, and other information you choose to share.
Children. The Services are for adults. They are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors. See Section 11.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information only when we have a lawful reason to do so:
- To provide the Services (contract). Deliver production and content work, run the application and booking process, take payment, provide support, and manage your account.
- With your consent. Send marketing messages, record calls, and use non-essential cookies.
- To meet legal obligations. Comply with tax, accounting, and other laws, and respond to lawful requests.
- For our legitimate interests. Improve and secure the Services, run analytics, prevent misuse, and develop new offerings, in a way that respects your rights.
Typical uses include processing your application, booking and running calls, delivering the content we produce for you, sending reminders and service messages, and sending marketing you have agreed to receive.
4. On-camera appearances and production footage
A core part of the Services is filming original content at your location. This means we may capture images and recordings of your business, your team, and other people who agree to appear.
- We film only with appropriate notice and consent from the people involved.
- How Brand Launch may use, edit, publish, and repurpose the footage (including behind-the-scenes content) is set out in the production or on-camera release and your service agreement, not in this Policy.
- If someone who does not wish to appear may be captured, tell us before the shoot so we can plan around it.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies, pixels, and similar tools for site functionality, analytics, marketing measurement, and personalization. Categories include strictly necessary cookies, analytics cookies, marketing and advertising cookies (for example, advertising pixels), and preference cookies. Where the law requires it, we ask for consent before using non-essential cookies. You can change cookie settings in your browser at any time. Turning some cookies off may affect how the site works.
6. How we share information
We share personal information only with the following types of recipients:
- Service providers who work on our behalf, under contracts that limit how they use your data. These include our funnel, form, and booking provider, our email and SMS provider, our CRM, our website host, our advertising and analytics platforms, our payment processor, and our video hosting provider.
- Authorities and legal parties, when the law requires it, in response to valid legal process, or to establish or defend legal rights.
- A buyer or successor, in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of the business, with this Policy continuing to apply.
- Anyone you direct us to share with, or where you choose to make information public.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA and CPRA.
United States only. We operate in the United States and process personal information here. We offer the Services only to United States clients and accept payment only from United States sources. We do not target the Services to, or knowingly serve, individuals outside the United States.
7. Your privacy rights
California (CCPA / CPRA). Subject to legal limits, you may know what we collect and why, request correction or deletion, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither as defined by law), limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You may use an authorized agent, with verification.
Other United States states. If you live in a state with a consumer privacy law (for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, or Texas), you may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain uses of your information, subject to that state's law.
To exercise any right, email us at privacy@brand-launch.com. We may verify your identity first.
8. Your choices
- Marketing. Unsubscribe from any marketing email, or email us to opt out. Service and transactional messages continue regardless.
- Cookies. Adjust your browser or platform settings at any time.
- Recordings. Tell us before a call or shoot if you do not want to be recorded. Where recording is reasonably needed to deliver the Services, declining may limit what we can offer.
9. How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including legal, tax, accounting, and record-keeping duties, and to resolve disputes or enforce agreements. We weigh the length of our relationship with you, any legal or contractual retention duty, our legal position while claims could arise, and the sensitivity of the information. Recordings and footage are kept as long as needed for delivery, quality, training, compliance, or the rights granted in your release, then deleted or anonymized in line with that release.
10. How we protect your information
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, such as encryption in transit, access controls, and secure hosting, to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's privacy
The Services are not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If we learn we have, we will delete it and close any related account.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. We will post the new version with an updated date, and if changes materially affect your rights, we will give notice. Continuing to use the Services after changes take effect means you accept them.
